Welcome to the Parish of Saint Jude (1974) in Mineral, and its mission church, Immaculate Conception (1876) in Buckner! We are located in the Central Piedmont region of Virginia, equidistant from Fredericksburg, Charlottesville and Richmond, on the south coast of Lake Anna.

Saint Jude is THE Catholic parish for the 514 square miles of Louisa County. Together the two churches have 516 registered families most of which make their homes in Louisa, or Spotsylvania County, though about one third of our registered membership are seasonal members who own a second home on Lake Anna.

These “seasonal” members have told us they registered because we are a small, welcoming community that makes them feel like family. If you are in the area come visit the community of Louisa County Catholics inside either church.
